Case Study: L’Occitane
French skincare brand L’Occitane capitalises on its heritage in romantic Provence by retailing a range of beautifully-packaged products that are appealing, natural and authentic.
f1 colour worked closely with L’Occitane to undertake digital, in-house photography of the full range of products, according to Marketing Manager, Stacey Trinh.
“Obviously our brand heritage is vitally important to us, which is why we wanted to work with a company that is able to provide first-class imagery,” Stacey explains. “The f1 team provided digital photography services and also post-production retouching and colour balancing – this provided our marketing team with a set of quality images that we can access without limitation or extra cost, using f1’s online asset management system. We were then able to retain these photographic assets for future web projects, catalogues and point of sale materials, safe in the knowledge that the imagery is optimised for all media channels.
“In addition, f1 colour printed the collateral for our marketing projects and also provided location video production at the L’Occitane Head Offices in Cavendish Place, London.
“The multi-service offering that f1 Colour offers makes working with them an easy choice.”

Case Study: House of Fraser
We all raise a glass to House of Fraser in the studio!
f1 Colour recently photographed & re-touched the new ranges of glassware Emma & Emily for House of Fraser.
f1′s in house photography studio were challenged recently to add a sparkle to two new glassware ranges that House of Fraser were about to launch. As you can imagine, highly reflective glassware is one of the most difficult subject matters for any experienced photographer but as you’d expect f1′s photographers raised the bar and achieved some stunning results in equally stunning timeframes and budgets. All shots were given our normal cross media conversion into the various cmyk & rgb colour spaces in preparation for the clients use across multiple channels.
Case Study: Vodafone
We have produced 12 issues using our f1′s < workflow >system and all parties are delighted with how efficient and streamlined it is compared to the previously complex approval process.
We are now expanding the project to use our f1′s < assets > system that will provide additional efficiencies and budget reductions across the different media types.
